Tynemet Trojans suffered mixed fortunes in their two weekend games.
They lost 101-65 to leaders Leeds Met Carnegie in National League Division Four North - but bounced back to overcome Morpeth in TyneMet Division One, 91-72.
Richard Copeland, Dave Urwin and Paul Campbell were the only players to make double figures against Leeds.
The same three players were top scorers with 22, 26 and 36 points respectively against Morpeth.
On Sunday the Trojans also hosted the TyneMet League Cup finals at Tyne Metropolitan College's Community Sports Hall.
The first game for the Third Division Cup saw an even contest between Willington Wombats and Zorbas which needed overtime before the Wombats secured a 79-76 victory.
The Division Two contest saw Tyneside Tigers comfortably defeat Newcastle University 81-42, while the final game of the day saw Boldon go down 56-54 to Willington Wasps for the Division One Cup.
